Yes, I bought a used motherboard from Amazon. Or rather, a returned one. It could have been returned because it was faulty, because the previous recipient damaged it, because they got shipped the wrong item, because they changed their mind, because they didn't like it, etc. But either it works or it doesn't, it came today, I unboxed it, and it looks fine to me, the only thing I'm worried about is "bent pins" (as that has even happened to some Amazon customers who bought allegedly new boards). To me it looks fine, but my eye is untrained, and this is only my second build.

Yes, I am buying the CPU new.

The images are too poor in quality to definitely say if the socket has been tampered with. You might want to use ambient lighting on the CPU's socket to help see the pins. As of this moment of time, the pins are all washed out due to the flash/overexposure.

To add, what processor will you drop onto the socket?

I'll try to retake them tomorrow.

13600K, I just ordered from Best Buy.

When will you put this system together to test everything?

Assuming AmazonUS, you have 30 days for their easy return window.
Best Buy should be delivering the CPU on Saturday. I only have one day off a week, on Sunday. So I figure I will try then, or at least try to assemble as much as I can. I got the case today, I still have to inspect the case to be sure everything is ok, as (a) I have been left with the impression that Lian Li has quality control issues, and (b) I could almost swear I heard UPS literally drop down the case on the doorstep. Of course in the worst "case" I could try for a caseless assembly.

You need all the parts. PSU/CPU/RAM/etc/etc....
USB to boot from and potentially install an OS.

It looks fine to me, but it's hard to tell with those pictures.
