BIOS Version F10 or later is needed to properly support the Ryzen 3 2200G .

If you are unable to POST due to the BIOS version being too old to support your processor you can get a boot kit from AMD here:

If it's not posting, yes it needs a BIOS update. If it posted it must have the update in place.
