Question Does this seem like a good build for a Photography business PC?

Hi all,

Hoping for some technical advice regarding a build I've created for a friend. Back story is she owns a very busy photography business and her current setup is a bit outdated.

She has 2 servers and these are where she stores her files on NAS drives. (I know nothing about the server specs yet, so they might need updated as well, but at the moment she's just concentrating on the PC side of things)

Her main issues are the computers "take forever to boot up, can crash quite easily if using Photoshop with any other program running, and seem very laggy when saving/moving files".

Also good to note that her monitors are Eizo (I don't know the model but can find out if this information is needed). She's told me they were expensive and they're designed specifically for photography so she isn't looking to change them. She also isn't too concerned about disk space on the PC's as I mentioned previously, everything they work on at the moment is stored remotely on the server(s).

She's looking to spend roughly £800-£1000 on the build. She will need at least 4 of these machines for her staff.

I've created this quote for her from PC Specialist, but I'm wanting an expert to glance an eye over it. Have I overdone/underdone anything from a spec point of view? This build is coming in at £979.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Please swap the PSU out for a reliably built unit, something at least from the TX range or a Seasonic PSU. As for the ram, pick out a dual channel DDR4-3200MHz ram kit to get the most out of your RyZen platform.

Thank you for taking the time to reply mate. Appreciate it.

So I've swapped the PSU for this guy:
Power Supply
CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

And this is the best RAM it's offered:
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2666MHz (2 x 16GB)

Would these be OK? (y)
