Does this setup look good? Is the PSU enough?

Hello!

I am more or less a tech newbie, but I wanted to get a mid-tier gaming and work pc for uni. I decided it would be very educational and fun to build it myself. I had in mind to build around an AMD Ryzen 2600x, as my chemistry modelling software strongly benefits from the hyperthreading. For my purposes, there is no overclocking planned and hence i go with the stock cooler.
I now need someone tech-savvy to check over it and see if it works!

This is my current build:

My main concerns are the psu, if it is enough, and if everything works together!

Any recommendations on parts are highly appreciated, but I'd rather don't spend any more than it currently totals to.

Thanks a lot for your help!

It looks good so far and should work perfectly fine.

But there are a few things i would like to mention:

If you do not plan on overclocking then a regular B450 Board will be as good as a X470 Motherboard and much cheaper at the same time.
You CAN change the RX580 for a 1060 since the 1060 does performance the same but consumes less power and would give you the option to go down to a 450/500 Watt PSU.
You can spend that extra money (from the Mobo) on a Ryzen 7 if your program can handle / does benefit from 2Cores/4Threads more.

For strictly gaming purposes, you will not see any FPS difference between 6 and 8 cores, but I agree with cookiemania66 when he says you should switch to NVIDIA. The only thing is you should make sure you get the 6gb of VRAM gtx 1060 as the 3gb models run much slower as they are constantly having to transfer data even in limited area maps such as FPS shooters.
