Does this SSD fit?

Hello, I recently got a SSD for 80% off, the SSD is a Samsung 840 EVO, but I am wondering whether it fits?
My motherboard is a GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P

Yes.

Yes. Any sata powered drive will fit. You will have to make sure you have an extra sata power connector and sata data connector, plug those two in, and you are ready to go. The power connector will come out of your power supply, and the sata data connection will plug one end into the motherboard, the other end into the SSD.

Make sure to do all this while the system is off.
