Does this upgrade look OK? (aka Am I dumber than a hamster?)

I'm looking at upgrading my PC in the coming months to ensure I can run The Witcher 3 & GTA V at high/very-high settings. I'd also like to ensure that Skyrim runs well, despite the fact that I've modded it quite severely.

I'm planning on upgrading my PC with the following components:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X Gaming G1
CPU: Intel i7-4790K
Graphics Card: MSI GeForce GTX-970 Gaming Graphics Card
HDD: Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB SSD

Does this setup looks horribly wrong to anyone or does anyone know of any issues with the setup I should be aware of?

Thanks!

Currently have the following:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
CPU: Intel i7-930
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GF GTX 670 OC EDITION
HDD: OCZ 240G Vertex III Series SSD

The only thing you have to upgrade is the graphics card, What resolution is your monitor?

I'm currently running at 1920x1200.

Are you sure I only need to update the graphics card to hit recommended standards?
GTA V has a recommended CPU of an i5-3470 while the Witcher III has a recommended CPU of an i7-3770, both of which seem to be superior to my current CPU (an i7-930) based on this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html

Nice. Is the i7 overclocked?

No. I don't overclock stuff because I'm fearful of wrecking the components.
