Not sure if this is the right area to post this but

Have a Threadripper 2950X i bought from work auction and was wondering if it can be used with ESXI. Ive googled and found mixed answers, most of which were 1yr+ old. Is is compatible, or at least does it work without much hassle/workaround?

Threadripper has been around long enough that the initial short-lived ESXi issues were resolved, last I heard...

Nothing new about Threadripper 2000 series...

Your question said, 'ANy version of ESX-i', however...; I'd guess that any versions that came out after TR /or were updated to support TR will work. You can't expect a version that came out a year before first gen TR to work, right?

Below video is an earlier 1900 series running ESXi..
