Does two ram sticks with different speeds work?

Does using a HyperX 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz and a HyperX 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz work with a motherboard that only supports 2133Mhz?

It is possible. Assuming the sticks will work together (which is not guaranteed), they would run at 2133 MHz. But since you would try to pair two sticks that are not kit, there's always chance they refuse to work at all.

It should but only expect the slow ones speed and its highly unlikely you will get dual channel.

dont forget you might have to set jedec manualy on so both will work at same speed use cpu-z to find it .
