Does Ubersampling in witcher 2 really makes the game gorgeous ?

It actually eats a lot of fps at max on 1080p i get 16 to 31 fps avg 25 if i disable it will it decrease overall visual quality my pc got
i5 4590
R9 270 sapphire
Asus B85M gamer
2x4 gb ddr3 twinmos 1333 ram
