I got a gt730 GDDR5 1gb and next day i found on net that a 2gb version of the card was avalible , did i make a bad deal or not , i think that a low end gpu would never be able to use more than 1gb vram or it can??

Solution
The GT 730 has no reason to ship with 2GB of VRAM, it won't use it, it can't use it, it just doesn't have the GPU power. 1GB of VRAM is sufficient for most games up to 1920x1080, 2GB only recently started being needed for 1920x1080, but a GT 730 will be restricted by the power of its GPU long before it is restricted by the capacity of its VRAM.
well, it could use more than 1 gb of memory, but it will not be an issue unless you have more than 2 monitors.

using higher settings will use up more memory, but that card will not be able to run anything at very high settings.
Multiple screens, however, will use more memory and will more likely be the issue with this card.

If you can tell me if you will be gaming and how many screens you have I can tell you if it is an issue or not.

ill be gaming at medium (high if i can) at 1280x1024 res , i use apps like mudbox and maya too (the vram will affect mudbox right ?) also is gigabyte better than gainward in gpu quailty?? i OC mine to 1ghz without probs

if i knew i would have w8 gotten the 2gb gpu since it is 10e cheaper , anyways i will play blur , BF3 (i dunno if i can medium this anyway 😀) sports games like pes , fifa and nba , and the most important is world of tanks since i play that a lot online :)

I would tell you to try and exchange/RMA the 1gb card for the 2gb one but if your going to do that you should prob just get a halfway decent card like a GTX 750. It's a low end card as well but is leaps and bounds better than a GT 730. The 730 is an incredibly weak card.

But as a rule. I would never get a 1GB graphics card anymore. 2GB min.
