(PC specs down below, and yes, I'm aware of how outdated they are.)
Hello guys! So I just installed my new processor and immediately after launch (since I have no idea what to do) I started a game to see the fps improvement. However, I've only gotten 5-10 more fps which is weird for the amount of bottleneck I've removed. I checked the device manager, and it's still displaying my old CPU with it's 2 cores. Oddly enough, in a temperature measurement program, I'm seeing the name of my new processor, but only 2 of it's cores (it has 4). Somewhere on the internet I've read about updating your BIOS and stuff, but I'm not sure about that. So, yeah, any help would be appreciated...
