Hmm, if they ever put one of these on airplanes, I could be in serious trouble. Once I took a Korean Air flight from Dulles to Incheon (Seoul), and sampled some of the hot Kimchii in lieu of the nuked fish. About an hour later I had to make an emergency trip to the toilet, where I spent the next hour, despite people banging on the doors. So the below "feature" would not have worked for me 😛.

City officials say an extra security feature of the new unisex toilet is that members of the public will be able to spend a maximum of 30 minutes inside before the doors automatically open and an alarm sounds.

Yeah sometimes 30 min wont cut it.

I would hate to be the swat team kicking that stall door, just think about what you'll find after 30 min.
