Doom 3 on Windows 7 64 bit?

Hello,
I would like to know if Doom 3 works on Windows 7 Home Basic ? Do I need a patch? It is the CD release and I'd really love to play it!

It worked for me. I'm using Win7 Ultimate 64-bit. Only thing was that it didn't support 1920x1080 res....which made it look like cr*p!! Mine is on Steam btw.

Did you know that Ultimate or Professional has XP mode that allows it run XP programs! BTW Steam also might have a Universal OS version!
