Dunno if this is a good indication of the actual release. Got the headsup from hardocp this weekend. Heres the link to <A HREF="http://www.bestbuy.com/software/Detail.asp?m=1023&e=11213400" target="_new">Best Buy </A>. It says 11/1/2003, but dunno if this is confirmed by id.

Amazon.com has it listed as July 31, 2003.

I've noticed Amazon is pretty good about getting release dates right...

They had SWG updated the day the announcement was made that release would be postponed to June...

doom three will be released in june to july 2003 and is presently on time with all of it's development teams. so look for an ass kicking summer this year.

We'll find out for sure at E3. I read that Carmack does not want to come to E3 without a release date.

wired magazine has an article on it, there is a link over at [h]ardocp. It mentions that there is going to be another demo at quakecon this year (or did that happen?)

I wonder if it is going to be another demo in the idea that you can see it and videos/pictures, or if it will be a real downloadable demo.
