Double check on $500 gaming pc (are these parts good + compatiable)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming (just needs to be able to run starcraft 2 basically)

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS

For Starcraft 2, a 6850 card would work just as well and save a few $. The 6850 would also not get as hot in that small case.

I would add a front fan to the case blowing in(intake). The rear that comes with it will be blowing out of course. This one has a 3 speed switch which you should be able to set on low. They are nearly silent at all speeds. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835209005

I would use the savings on the vid card to upgrade the motherboard. ECS is usually not very good, and with the low cost of that one, it is likely a problematic "get rid of 'em cheap" deal. This would serve you very well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128527

edit: In your case, the heat spreader on the ram would be just unseen decoration.

I would downgrade to a 6850. A better case for $10 more would be the Rosewill Challenger-U3. Also, spend some more money on that mobo, cheap for mobos usually = bad.
