Down-Scaling bigger resolution?

My laptop "Generic PnP monitor" screen has a native resolution of 1366x768. I was modifying some .inf files and got the resolution i wanted, it was 1600x900. But when i went to CCC to change the resolution it showed bigger than my laptops monitor screen. I was wondering if there was anyway i can Down-Scale the resolution to fit my laptop monitor. I also tried 1920x1080, but it showed a blank screen and im pretty sure it would've said i was over the input range. 1920x1080 would be better on a 15.6" but im looking for 1600x900 because 1920x1080 would not work at all.

1366x768 is all your screen is capable of (that's why it's called native). If you desire a resolution greater then you will have to obtain an external monitor that can handle it.

Are you sure? because it showed some of the OS not all of it, I was wondering if maybe theres any application i can use? or UEFI settings? I just want it to fit my 15.6" screen.

Yes, absolutely I'm sure. If you want it to fit the screen you MUST use the screen's native resolution or obtain a higher resolution monitor.
