multi core is by no means a technological advancemet, it is just a way of implying: "we can't anymore". the more intelligent of you may understand that. everything in this universe is single-core. it is a law of nature and technology was,is,and will be a mirror of nature. any deviation from this rule is doomed and will be washed away by the supreme intellectual entity (and that entity does have a name. no. that name is not wrong. that name is too DAMN right.). the thing to do is to have a single core and strengthen it.

You might as well keep whining - dual cores have become the way of the industry and it's not goint to just return to single cores because you raised a stink. If you asked me, multiple cores have become the new gigahertz race, and it'll only end when the industry hits a wall like Intel did with the Prescott. Then they'll move on to something else, but no, then you'll be there, whining about that too.
