[SOLVED] Download speed on Ubuntu 18.04/VPN

I need help setting up the VPN configuration on Ubuntu 18.04. It's a fresh, yesterday's install. Regarding the Internet everything is untouched.

The download speeds in both qBittorrent and Transmission are very low (300 kbs max). I have a VPN enabled (VPN.ht), but this is the first OS I'm having such problems. I've contacted the Internet provider and the ports both apps are using are open.

I haven't any experience setting up VPN in Ubuntu, but from a simple web search, several possible solution seems to be provided : this one for example:

What are the specs of your Ubuntu PC? What VPN client you're using? What is the download speed when you download files from fast hosts?

Download speeds using Torrent clients depends a lot of connection speed of seeders. And if you use VPN to steal content - don't!
