Whenever I am downloading a file to the desktop it does not appear on the actual desktop. There are several users that use this machine in question. Is there anything I can do?

Thank you!

Are you using a "Run As" command when using the web browser to download things? I've seen this happen when you run a program as another user, the files go to that second user account folder. Even if you are not doing that yourself, at some point someone may have done that and saved the credentials.

All you need to do is look at where the file is trying to be saved to before you save it. Check the full path of the location.

If you open the Windows Explorer, there is a RECENT folder you can click on that will show you the folders that have been changed. The most recent of these would show you where it downloaded to if you look at it right after doing a download. Then you could cut and paste the download to whatever other folder you want it.

Good luck.
