Downloading from steam kills my internet.

When I download a game from steam my internet drops and my network adapter reports no internet available with the alert sign on it. My internet or adapter only drops when downloading from steam. I downloaded a game from GOG and Origin and both maxed my connection (26-30MB/s) and everything was fine. I was able to browse and still stream videos while downloading. Once I download a game using Steam my connection drops within a minute or even seconds. I then have to reset my network adapter to get internet again. Once it's back up and I try and resume the game download using steam my connection drops again. I have Killer Ethernet E2200 adapter I believe. Came with my Mobo Gigabyte z97x gaming 5. I tried using different drivers like Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 and I still get the same issue. I removed everything that has to do with Killer Ethernet and still the same issue. I currently using Qualcomm Atheros AR8161/8165 since I want to avoid Killer Suite. I have come to the conclusion it has to do with Steam because no other service kills my internet like this even when my connection is maxed out. Does anyone know why this is happening with steam? Anyone have a fix or know of a way I can possibly fix the issue? I am connection with a Ethernet cable.
Thank you!

That doesn't seem to fix the issue. AFAIK my modem/router doesn't have a QoS option. I have a Arris modem/router. I have looked for that option before and never found it. it's only steam causing the issue :??: Do you think it's a Firewall setting? These are the only options for the Firewall.

I appreciate your help but it's still not working. 🙁
No MTU option that I can see. Also here is something interesting.
I limited the download speed to 10MB/s on steam and my internet stays up for a lot longer (like 5 mins) and then drops instead of dropping instantly. It's only steam. I narrowed it down and I am certain it's only steam because everything else can max my connection and my internet doesn't drop. :??:

So I went ahead and uninstalled Avira AV and installed Bitdefender and the problem seems to be fixed...
Looks like it was Avira causing the issue for some reason:??:

it is really odd. I don't remember the exact settings but I know I did make it slightly aggressive. I didn't mess with the Firewall settings so I don't see why it would kill my connection till I reset the network adapter...:??:
