I am on wired connection thru a wireless extender; linksys extender re4100w, not so cheap one, and when downloading via uTorrent it just isnt stable, can't get good download speed, jumping all the time from 1.3 - 1.8 - 700kbps ( pics below ), and it's quite annoying. via SpeedTest i get about 25MB Down, and about 2MB Up. I've tried resetting router etc, extender, etc updating it and so on. Nothing helped. Also gaming, theres lag spikes. But if I setup the extender to take signal from a booster, the connection is stable but drops down to 11mbps down and 0.5up i think, which also sucks. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Solution

A torrent can only download so fast as there are other people sharing it. Also move to qBittorrent as Utorrent has had a lot of malware in it over the last 6 months and they can't keep it away.

You can always try using direct lan cable to your main router. It should improve your ping and solve your issue.
