downloading

Archived from groups: alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim (More info?)

I tried to download some files from http://library.avsim.net/ . When I
click on any download link I'm sent to the page for a few seconds and
then an error screen comes on. one of the things on this page tells me
to enable PCT 1.0. This is something that no longer exists in IE 6.

I went to redgedit and it's there but doesn't have any value. I never
got used to changing things in redgedit like I use to change ini files
so I didn't know what value to add.

It appears to be an I E problem. I installed Firefox and the trouble
went away
