DP cable male to male ??

Hey , this is kinda silly question but i'm not an expert or anything ,

i'm gonna buy new monitor and like it have freesync but to use freesync i need to use dp cable so i wanted to buy one since it doesn't come with one, when i was about to buy one i realized it named dp 1.2 male to male with latches i have rx 480 as gpu and the monitor im gonna buy is LG 29UM68-P , is this cable gonna work fine ?

It should. The graphics card output as well as the monitor's input are both female.
