im trying to get my monitor to work in DP but i get nothing( no signal ) hdmi works fine but only get 60 hz refresh rate have tried in several ports but no go

has nobody else ever had this problem? or does nobody have a solution?

This is a difficult question and usually comes down to 3 things as it's usually either your monitor, your cable, or your graphics card.
First I would try a different cable if you had one, if not I would make sure your graphics card is properly seated to where the display port can fully plug into your card. Also you can make sure on your monitors OSD that the input is on display port just to be sure. You can also try this monitor on a different computer with the same cable (also might not be an option.) you can also try using both display ports on the card. sorry if this wasn't any help.

That's a nice monitor. Did you get it used?

high Jeff, i got it brand new(and payed top price) im pretty sure the graphics card is properly seated, dont have another computer to try it on, and no new cable HDMI works pefectly , but only at 60 Hz, so its kinda like having a V8 with only 4 cylinders working
i spoke to he guys who i bought it from and they suggested disabling sli , but to no avail checked the OSD and it was set on DP , i will be taking monitor back to shop so they can check its not the DP port thats faulty, i might try swapping the graphics cards (just thought of that now)

Hdmi input is capped at 60 always, only DP will display above 60hz which is one of the main reasons to have one of those monitors is to go above 60 ha. Also don't forget it could be that cable you're using who knows. Hopefully it works out!

im taking the monitor back to where i bought it, i disabled sli no go , so i pulled out both GPUs and swapped them over, still no go , so its back to the shop i go

i took my monitor to my techie guy and he asked one question that no one else had, and it solved the problem , " did you have both HDMI and DP cables plugged in? i told him "yes" "well thats your problem then" so he hooked it up to a computer there with only DP plugged in and off she went not a problem
woohoo PROBLEM SOLVED
