Question DP or HDMI for main monitor

So I have dual monitors set up.
One with a HDMI connection and one with a DP connection.
Is there a preference to which connection I should use for my main monitor or is it irrelevant how both are connected?

It's not relevand how you plug each monitor. Just connect it however u want it and u are good to go.

I mean only difference is that adaptive sync works better via DP? Or is it something else?

HDMI is inferior to Display Port.
Always use DP first over HDMI
Not all Monitors can use Adaptive sync with HDMI

RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 2400 C16 8GBx2

Main monitor is a Acer KG271C
2nd Monitor Usually a Dell p2214H
