Drain port for watercooling?

Hey guys , I've got all the gear for my watercooling and I want to put a drain port somewhere incase I have to change out the fluid or add another cooled component.

And I created a small loop in paint and I thought it could look like this (2 options)

I'm not sure where to put it , I've only heard to put it near the bottom of the loop because of gravity

Yup, put it in the lowest point of the loop.
Give the tubing its on a bit of slack as well, you might need to pull it out a bit to position it over a bucket or something.

Right.. are the positions on the diagrams I've done correct?

Well, their not wrong.

I would have it so the CPU goes directly to the GPU, then the flow goes up to the rad. Then just have that valve on the end of some tubing coming off the bottom of the GPU. Serves the same purpose, just will look a bit cleaner.
