News DRAM Prices Dropped 20% in Q1 2023, Will Keep Falling in Q2

I paid $214.99+ tax for this RAM kit back in late December. It's $160 now. At the time I was gathering parts for my new build, I was concerned RAM prices were going to go up, so I jumped on it when it went on sale. The price had been $179.99. My CPU cooler, case, and power supply has went up a little in price since I bought them. Win some, lose some, I guess. I am holding out for an even greater deal on a 2TB M.2 drive. No real hurry for that.

I was wondering if it was me or if I was imagining things but I just ordered 64GB of DDR4 3200 RAM for my Proxmox server for $130. I see the laptop memory for my gaming laptop is stupidly cheap too. I might as well max out both systems with these insane drops while I have spare cash.

You only need more ram if you’re running out. WiMAX, anything out if you’re not going to use it
