wow, brevik was polite, classy, and honest with his response, "it wasnt a game I wouldve made". then wilson spews shit out his mouth. blizzard, youre getting lower...

Diablo 3 was garbage. I played what? 30 minutes or less and never touched it again. gave it away to a friend after that as a trade for the Civ5 expansion instead. I prefered D1 and D2. spooky feel, good story, in fact D1 was my fav. I remember playing as a kid, used to scare the crap outta me lol

I felt ripped after playing Diablo 3 for a few hours. I purchase SC II and had a really good time, but it was "more of the same". It felt like a remake of SC with a different campaign and more units. The basic gameplay mechanics were the same. Still, it was well made and fun.

Diablo 3 is simply boring. Having to be online to play single player is mindboggling stupid, character customization is very limited in comparison with it's predecessor, and the loot is usually crappy. The gameplay changes felt like Diablo for dummies. And don't get me started on character design and enviroments, they don't felt like you're playing a Diablo game at all, more like a clone.

I only dabbled in D1 & D2, but D3 is a total POS and is nothing like the first 2... In my opinion.

Remove the always on DRM crap, remove the multi-player BS, and remove the real-money marketplace BS. Then I'll be on-board, until then, f*ck Blizzard!

LOL Jay Wilson bashing a person who made Diablo a popular franchise. Righttttttt, Come and see me in a ring lets see how much you talk tough guy.

Jay and most of the people in that post are f****** delusional. D3 is such a fail that I feel really guilty dragging my friend to play it. Have there been an option between D1 or D2 HD and D3, I would have picked D3 last. D3 is only successful in terms of sale because of how good D2 was.

Brevik said what he felt in a very honest an non-offensive, non-personal way. "I would have made something different," being met with "F- that loser." Hmm...I'm not surprised D3 had so many issues...

Agreed, as a kid when leveling in the church the 1st time I heard "Fresh Meat" I was terrified!

I miss the ability choose stats and build my character as I see fit rather than have my based character no different than every character the same class as me.

It seems like the last few years have been full of big devs releasing mediocre sequels to hugely successful games. After they run out of IP to tarnish where are they going to make money? I hope that 10 years from now gaming companies will look back at this time as a lesson on how you can sell out your fanbase for short term profits but don't expect them to keep coming back for more.

On the bright side, Blizzard is pretty much out of cherished games to ruin (except for Warcraft 3) so they should start going downhill now. This should open up some room for better emerging studios that actually care about the games they make, not just screwing customers out of as much money as possible (e.g. RMAH).

People, did you ever hear of the game Path Of Exile? Since I started playing it, I never gave Diablo 3 more than a cold chuckle. Also, I didn't buy D3 ::- D.

I love how the D3 dev team thinks they had anything to do with all the copies that D3 sold, what complete morons. The credit for D3 having been the fastest selling pc game of all time should go ENTIRELY to the D2 dev team. D3 was all hype, people were buying it because they loved D2 and thought D3 would deliver.

It didn't though, and it has showed with the vast majority of people having left the game in droves already, disappointed never to return.

And NOW the next game blizz makes will have a much harder time selling THANKS TO THE D3 TEAM. D3 team you didn't do jack except drive customers away and take credit for something you don't deserve. What idiots...

Damn, only makes me hate Activision even more. Because no matter how bad EA is, they are really just following Activision.
