Question Drilling with macrium for a file

I have windows 11 and use a Samsung 500 gigabyte external drive as my target.
I am trying to browse an image and drill down to documents where I can copy a file and paste it into my operating system.
I only get as far as folders and when I open up documents there's nothing there.
If you have macrium reflect 8 and think you can help me I would appreciate it.
Bac kup and restore is fine, it's just getting to a file not just folder that is my problem.

How are you accessing the Image?

I have MR 8, and have done this many times.
 
Could you please tell me how as I can't recall by memory.
I think after clicking restore in macrium and browse for a file a new # is generated. I think then I should go to that path but that is where I get lost. I know when I get to documents there is a folder called documents but nothing in it. PLease help with the steps as I cannot do it while typing here.
I would really appreciate the steps. I need to retrieve a file as I used to but forgot. Thank you for your cooperation. If I can do it again I will write the steps. I might have a wrong setting or I think I am using the wrong path.
 
MR v8.1.7909

Existing Backups
In the righthand pane, scroll until you see the Image you wish to work with

Right click, and Browse Image

Give it a drive letter, and click OK.


It will then appear in FIle Explorer, as that drive letter.

I did as you said and when I clicked on documents in the new letter H it was empty but at the left in documents were all my files. This is in the path of the new letter H not the first given letter F or the C drive.
Should I have seen files in the first documents or was Iok?

I'd have to see a pic of what you're looking at.

For the docs that you saw, were those from the old drive, or just what is on your current drive?

I try to find files in documents in both the image with its new letter and file explorer. The image gets as far as a folder documents then empty.
File explorer under its letter works as it should
I cannot upload a picture to show you. I used snipping tool but will try OneDrive as others don't work.

I'm sorry but after snipping tool I have no compatible place to save for Imgur
