Whether you do or do not get the data from this drive, please please please take this as a wakeup to maintain a good backup routine.

Absolutely! Lesson learned. Now I am just trying to figure out how to use it in my new system. Only 1 SATA cable seems to fit in it.. I am not sure how to connect it. Any help?

Take 2.5" hdd out of the caddy and connect it the same way as 2.5"SSD.
You'll need one additional sata data cable.
