Was doing a drive clone from hdd to a new ssd and everything was going well the clone worked and then I formatted the old hdd and it was working but after restart the drive no longer shows up in windows at all but shows up just fine in the bios, I've tried a couple of things but windows doesn't see to detect it anymore.

I had a similar issue when I built this PC. I had to go into bios and enable legacy support, despite my windows drive being newer than my 64 gig linux m.2... I could not tell you how many hours I spent trying to figure it out and I have a Asrock Z590 extreme... I could boot into my Linux drive, but my windows drive did not even show up.... I could understand if it was older hardware but I just built this last year lol
