Drive Setup

I'm planning to setup my drives like this

HDD#1 Master (first channel)
DVD Slave (first channel)

HDD#2 Master (second channel)
CD-RW Slave (second channel)

Is that an optimal setup? Also, how long do I need for the IDE ATA/100 cables? (I'm thinking of getting the 24in one) The case I'm using is Enlight 7237. The mobo is CUSL2-C. Thanks in advance!

Are both your hard drives ATA100?

I'd be putting both on one channel.

Then take the DVD and the CD/RW and put the one you use the most on master and the other on slave on other channel.
