Driver and USB issues

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this question, mainly because it's a couple of issues all within one. I picked this section because I believe it's the most generic.

So.. where do I start! I've recently started working on Android development a few weeks ago now which means I needed to connect phones to my computer from time to time so Android Studio recognizes them and I can test my apps on there. The first and foremost problem was that whenever I connected a phone, it would not be recognized until I rebooted my system WITH the phone connected. If I did that, I could simply manage the phone and whatnot. This made me play around a lot with all sorts of drivers which in the end seemingly only made it worse. Two days ago I decided maybe an upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 would solve my problem, but in reality it only made it much and much worse. First, a lot of drivers stopped working. It seemed a lot like the more I rebooted my system, the more broke down. In the end my speakers, headset, keyboard and mouse stopped working responding completely. After some digging, my monitors decided to stop too.

Luckily I had TeamViewer installed and enabled from laptop and phone by default so even without my input devices responding I could make some back-ups. I managed to fix the monitor issues by taking out the power cable and holding my power bottom for 30+ seconds. This only worked after like 3 reboots, though. It gave me the well-known black screen with a mouse first (logging in or Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't work).

Right now the following issues remain, respectively in order of importance to me:
1. My system won't recognize a new USB device until reboot. It does make the sound that a new device was added to the system, but nothing else happens. Small elaboration; connecting an Android phone *DOES* make it show up in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark, stating the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28). It then won't find them online, of course (Moto G 2nd gen).
2. My USB Graphics Adapter connected monitor does not work and is not recognized. Might work this out on my own, seems like a W10 issue.
3. One of my ACER monitors suddenly stopped responding for some reason. As in the power button is shining the same way the other ACER (exact same monitor) monitor shines, except it just doesn't give any visual besides a black screen. The system also does recognize it.
4. My speakers are not making any sound when I select them in the Sound Manager. Probably driver related.
5. My mouse is not working in the USB slot it had always worked on, since April 2014. I put it in another slot and it worked again after a reboot.
6. I'm probably forgetting some.. Will add more later, I bet! It's been a very long and stressful day.

Some of the above issues might be fixed by a reboot, but now that I have a visual and running sytsem I am afraid of rebooting so I'm posting this first. Please bear with me, I've been on this for half a day now.

Thanks a lot for reading!

P.S. Sorry if I forgot some details and excuse my writing. Like I said, long and stressful day!

Does anyone have a clue for any of the issues?

Just downgraded back to W8.1, fixed one of my monitors (HP USB Graphics Adapter driver is just not compatible with W10). Apart from that the issues all persist.

USB issue is definitely the most annoying, by far!
