I have a Zotac 2080 and I have tried installing the driver but I keep getting this on a new build. It keeps saying "NVIDIA installer cannot continue. The standard Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows. I have updated windows and everything for the past 2 weeks and still nothing

Look like an OS issue. Some system files might be corrupt. OR, you need to install the DCH driver version, assuming you are having an OEM PC. But first, please provide FULL PC specs, since I'm not 100% sure.

Also do a fresh re-install of your Windows OS copy, if need be. Use the DDU tool to re-install the GPU drivers in safe Mode.

Solution
Another reason for this problem is that you might be trying to install a 32 bit driver on a 64 bit operating system, or a 64 bit driver on a 32 bit operating system. Since the architecture of these two systems is different, they need different driver for NVidia to function. These drivers are not interchangeable in any way.
