Driver Installation of MSI Z170A SLI Plus

Hello, I'm currently upgrading my pc. I have the RAM and CPU already installed into the motherboard. I understand I need to get rid of the previous drivers but I don't the processes or best way to do it.
current pc-Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P. Fx-8320, GSKILL DDR3 ram
upgrade-MSI Z170a SLI PLus, i5 6600k, Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 ram

Do a clean install. If youre going to use a hdd from something else (and if it had an OS on it)

Otherwise, you'll have probs later
