Okay so my friend bought a new SSD and clean installed Windows on it. He has all other drives formatted and stuff. What happened is that he wanted to install the drivers using an unknown software. After the computer restarted, there was no image whatsoever. All fans are turning, everything is on. No signal from VGA nor the MOBO. MOBO is Gigabyte H110M S2H, VGA is Sapphire Radeon RX 480 Nitro + 4GB. Tried CMOS reset, did not work.
Did it kill the hardware? Do you know any solution to this?

Yes, this "unknown software" may have messed things up.
Only get the drivers direct from the manufacturer.

Start over, with a full wipe and reinstall of the OS.

You boot to a USB that has windows installer on it and you can make one using the windows media creation tool and an 8 GB USB drive

but how do you setup the bios boot order if you can't even access bios? he turns on the computer and the monitor doesnt get a signal, no matter where he plugs the cable into, vga or motherboard.

Does your friend still have the previous hard drive? If so, testing to see if the computer boots from that one (or at least can get to BIOS) would point to whether this is a corrupted HD or some other issue. Bad software can definitely lead to a lot of problems, but there are also other possible factors preventing a PC from booting.

like I said, he formatted everything and installed windows on the new ssd.

just to be clear: he can't see ANYTHING on the monitor. It doesnt even get a signal. Can't see POST, can't get into bios, Cant even see if the os is loading in the background because the monitor does not get a signal from any video output it's plugged into.
