My computer has been having problems recently with getting the BSOD (to the point where I couldn't even load into windows) so I did a factory reset and most of those problems went away. I'm able to go on the desktop and use things like Google Chrome but around 5 minutes after starting a game I get a BSOD. It's driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. I wasn't able to get the error but I know it had many 0's in it. I don't know anything about mini dump files so I don't know what's causing it. Thanks for the help.

Samsung EVO 250GB
EVGA 650W Gold PSU

yep, but if you have already installed the utilities you should remove them or run the most current version.
there were so many bugs in the utilities that most people looking at the system will assume that they are the cause of the problem and will make you remove them before they will look at your system. I recommend you remove them until your problem is resolved, just to save the hassle.

Okay, well does anyone know how to fix this

crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\032517-4015-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: wdf01000.sys (0xFFFFF80A45C1C207)
Bugcheck code: 0xD1 (0xFFFFB903D9FCBB5F, 0x2, 0x0, 0xFFFFF80A45C1C207)
Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: Kernel Mode Driver Framework Runtime
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

bugcheck was in USB code extentions.
Generally, you would just update your BIOS then update the motherboard USB and chipset drivers from the motherboard vendors website.

machine info:
BIOS Version 0318
BIOS Release Date 11/08/2016
Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product PRIME Z270-P
Version Rev X.0x
memory: Speed 2133MHz
Manufacturer Corsair
Part Number CMK8GX4M2B3000C15
Processor Version Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz
Processor Voltage 8bh - 1.1V
External Clock 100MHz
Max Speed 8300MHz
Current Speed 4200MHz

bios update:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-Z270-P/HelpDesk_Download/

pick up the bios update and driver updates for the motherboard (I would not install the utilities)
-looks like your system is not applying any windows updates, and has a license server installed.
I would assume your system has a hacked version of windows, so I would run a malwarebytes scan and attempt to remove the software hack via:
start cmd.exe as an admin then run
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

I would expect any hack is unrelated to this problem, it is more likely a mis match from the generic USB driver versions and the USB support in the BIOS. I would expect you just need a bios update and maybe the updated motherobard drivers to fix this.

So just download everything but the Utilities tab?
