Driver Problem

I just had to reload windows onto a new drive on my daughters computer. It's a Progen C333, AGP, 32mb, etc., nothing fancy. I tried to load video drivers and all that will come up is a "standard vga" 16 color 640x480.

I need to get one that will do at least 256 800x600. I have a driver disk from Progen ( out of business) with alot of drivers on it but I can't seem to find one that will pair with her graphics card.

It looks like a generic card, I can't find any names on it.

Is there a driver that will work for me? I have a princeton SVGA monitor.

Thanks,
Bob

Look out the chip manufacturer of the video card.
He might be able to provide reference drivers that'll help you.
For example, if your card is a 3D Blaster Riva TNT from Creative, the chip manufacturer is nVidia. So one could visit their site to download their latest reference drivers.
