Oddly enough, these timeouts only happen in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War's campaign. And only in a specific mission on a specific frame. When that frame gets rendered the game crashes and my screen starts to artifact, looking like it had a seizure. My PSU is powerful enough to run the GPU. I have tried to install new drivers, update windows, verify game files, tried to run it in D11 and so on. Even more oddly, the mission in which this happens changed about a month ago. I also pulled up the analytics of my GPU while the game was running and other than a fairly taxing clock speed, nothing out of the ordinary happened as far as i know. And i have to stress that this only happens in that specific game, and also BF2042.

What i am asking is that is my GPU dying or what? It seems perfectly healthy in other games, although my CPU does bottleneck the [ Moderator edit to remove profanity.] * * * * out of it.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

With the timeout being very specific try using either Task Manager or Resource Monitor (use both but only one at a time) to observe what happens with respect to system performance during that specific mission and specific frame.

Also Reliability History and/or Event Viewer may be capturing some related error code(s). Look in both.
