Driver update on the avermedia lgp lite

SO I bought the lgp lite the other day and you have to plug it into a computer to do the driver update well I download the file I then have to unzip the fil I do that but it says that it’s a dmg file so I downloaded a dmg file opener and says it’s not in the dmg file file format so I’m stuck as in what I can do to get it working

".dmg" files are usually for Apple iOS (Macbook), not for PC.
AverMedia Downloads page lists both Mac and Windows drivers, make sure you download the correct one.
