hey, so i was just sussing out all the drivers and utilities for my build for tomorrow and seen that there is a heck of alot of drivers and utilites something like 30+, do i just stick them all on the thumb drive and install each one yeh?

Solution
Even the CDs have bloatware on them, install all of the drivers, but don't use the "install all" for the utilities. Be selective or you'll end up with a bunch of internet toolbars, antivirus trials and useless media software.
Well it depends ....

1. On enthusiast level builds, there's generally stuff on the MoBo CD that is licensed .... and has a key code.... download the new one from web site and it don't install. Install the web one then the older CD one and ya fudged. Been there done that ( i.e. Asus Rampage)

2. I prefer to build "what came in the box" and establish a working system "as delivered" as I find it helpful in dealing with support and return issues if things go south. Also like to put on newest drivers and utilities AFTER Windoze Update has done it's obligatory 127 updates.

3. No, don't install everything .... only install stuff ya gonna use.

4. RTFM - Read the Fat Manual and see what each thing does and what the options are.

There's usually one or two utilities that might be worth installing, the rest are bloatware. I just pull up my device manager when i'm getting machine together and install drivers one at a time on an as-needed basis until everything is identified and working correctly, no reason to install more than you need.

Hey, when i finished building my pc, i used the 'install all' button on the cd >.<

Are all the utilities found in the 'Control Panel > Programs and Features' ?
