Drivers for EOS 500 digital camera

I have upgraded to windows 7. please advise what drivers are available or whether I can use the
software I purchased with my camera which was 12 months ago

TRy installing the software you are referring to. There is absolutely nothing special or unique about the compatibility of a Canon EOS series digital camera and Windows 7. Plug the camera in via USB just as you would with any other OS. If the software worked with Vista, the likleyhood of the software working with Windows 7 is high, almost certain. Try googling your camera, find the Canon online product page downloads and check for any software downloads available. Try the Vista downloads if Win 7 are not available.
