I am at my wits end and simply cannot search any longer for the solution so therefore I will make this post-
I have done searching but have not found the correct solution.

bios version

device manager says firmware was installed 11/08/2024
system firmware version 13
AZW_SODIMM_4800U_SER_V1.14_P3C6M43_B_Link_

when I initially swapped to the 64g kit (32gx2),
I first went into the bios to check and it definitely registers that there is 64 gigs and when i check the memory details-
it says its up to 3200mhz- and when trying to boot Windows 11 as usual, nothing but blank / black screen.
I also did a on-board reset button.. No change
I thought maybe the XMP ( that's intel, not sure for AMD), but cannot distinguish where & what I'm looking for.
The Bios is a bit involved for me and there are so many things about it that I have little to non knowledge about it.
Therefore I do not try to mess with it..
I did a memory diagnostic on it one day ago since I was getting error logs immediately after the recent update from Microsoft 1 day ago, but nothing came up.

Recent updates to OS :
- 2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5048667)
- 2024-11 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5048162)
- 2024-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5045934)
- Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 31.0.12027.9001
- Windows Configuration Update (KB5035942)

I am using Crucial DDR4 memory 3200 1.2v CL22 for both 32g kit & 64 gig kit
Again, My bios registers that there is 64 (32 in each slot)
My extent of my computer internally is that I read Log files thru computer management, task manager, and occasionally view the CBS file.
I mainly use my master control unit for Graphic Design & Audio production
Im not trying to overclock or do anything special ( its all set to auto anyways) but if theres just something simple i need to know , pretty much thats all.
I try to read into much of this and i get lost...
So if anyone has any simple answers for me , that would be fantastic. I am on a limited time frame as I only have a small window until I can actually return the sticks if I cannot find a solution. Thanks,

In the bios EXPO is the XMP equivalent for amd boards.

1. Have you placed the ram modules in Slot A2 & B2 ?
2. Does the system boot into Safe Mode ?

Post a link to the mobo you have and also the ram that you bought.

the ram I bought to swap out with my current 32gig kit , also by crucial which is currently running at 3200mhz

The mobo is AZW SER
https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/16567497
It's a Beelink Ser4 w/ AMD 4800U processor
It originally came with 16 gig ( 8g x 2 ) and i immediately upgraded 2 yrs ago with Crucial 32g kit (2 x 16g) and now I am trying to upgrade it to the 64g kit. I have only two slots. And like I said, when I install the 64 kit, The bios reads more but it won't boot into Windows, thats it. I haven't found any information saying it won't work (64gig upgrade) and I have no idea why Windows will not boot up.
I have not tried safe mode.

I believe that I read in the past that my machine cannot overclock , meaning that I cannot change the EXPO, but I may be wrong on this. And I have only two slots and it is dual channel. And I have not tried to boot into safe mode

Test each new ram stick one at a time see if either will boot.

it only goes as far as into the bios and I can see that they both are reading as it should and the amount of ram , but if it makes a difference to get the OS to boot, i can try that.

See if it works first and is stable. Then you can investigate further.
well. i did a bit , including contacting support at Beelink but not to much from them but help for a few other things going on like Secure boot is now enabled, and also I have tried different ways in booting with both 32g sticks but it will not work. I did try safe mode and it only will get to a boot manager window with one 32g card.. and the only thing thats there to boot from are the network family controller and the boot manager.. no ssd...... with two now, its nothing. NO MEDIA. Black screens and a few times a pixelated bad screen.. So, I was told to enable ACPI ( i believe that's what it was in advanced settings. But the thing is that when I have only my 16 gig sticks in like prior with no issues, it works fine but I do get every four hours in my logs both a "Blue Screen & Live Kernel Event and nothings crashing on me. and I do get the AMD chipset driver error every day since I purchased this thing.. and I have read that it helped someone by changing out the thermal paste.. and I have done that not to long ago and yes the previous paste was no good..
Beelink told me that my machine supports 64 and the sticks I have but not sure why my harddrive (ssd (s)) are not showing up now... I did see that my UEFI (bios) partition needed repair but I don't know how to do such and no repair tool in the bios that I can find,..
I also looked at my CBS file and there's lots going on in that thing.
I tried DISM and now Im getting errors telling me I have 1753 corrupt files and 0 repairs done..
I dont play around with the bios but only put on a security passwords.. Also, have not been able to get to secure boot all the way because of the reset pin issue which does not work. Windows 11..

Im at a loss here... I just want 64gigs to work but Im starting to think there's other issues going on but idk.. i may be wrong..
if theres anything I can do let me. thanks

1. If you know how to enable manual ram configuration, you could lower the speed of the ram to 2933 or 2666 speed and save the bios and boot to try.

2. You should try downloading and installing the AMD chipset driver from the manufacturer's website.

3. Also boot up sysyem normally with old working ram and run...

sfc /scannow (in a command prompt)

Then...

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Im not sure how to enable the ram config but Im sure its not hard and this is exactly the issue that Im thinking there is because I figured I would have too.. and was also thinking if its safe to reset the bios as well. but i also have done the AMD driver thing before.. no change. so I m just going to have to take one step at a a time. And yes, I do use sfc /scannow quite often ... almost everyday lately just to make sure.. thanks

DRAM or Memory configuration settings to normally switch from Auto to Manual, then you can enter a speed for the modules, save and it will reboot. Don't change any other memory settings apart from the speed. I'm thinking the speed may be causing the problem at 3200 ??
