Drivers upgrading to windows 10

Upgrading to windows 10
I've just built a PC and download windows 8.1 and downloaded all the drivers for the motherboard and it ask me for my operating system when doing so will. I want to download windows 10 will I need to delete the old ones or should I just download it and then install the windows 10 ones after that

Do you have a win 10 licence as the upgrade period ran out on July 30?

If you have a win 10 licence, why bother with 8? Just fresh install win 10.

As for question, download win 10 and upgrade to win 10 drivers then rather than waste time with win 8.1
