DRIVERS WONT INSTALL please help!!

PLZ PLZ HELP! ok so i have had my gaming pc for a little while now, and i have an AMD A4-6300 APU. That is the cpu it came with, but the integrated graphics that it came with was weak so i bought a amd r7 240. it was okay for a while but i just now bought an amd r7 370. a much better card. But my problem is that the drivers wont install. I put in the drivers disk and it goes through it like it should and it finishes downloading and installing but the drivers dont actually install even though it says it is done. When i go to my device manager, there is no display adapters for me to click on. and when i try to play games it will say lack of updated drivers. i have even tried to download the drivers on the amd website but they dont work either. I dont know what to do!! if you have any help for me i would be very appreciated.

okay i tried that and it actually said that there was an update for amd r7 370 drivers. so i got excited, however this popped up: "There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:" and where it said the r7 370 thing it says this: • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon(TM) R7 370 Series - Error 0x800f0246" PLZ do you know how to fix this!?!?

Depending on your motherboard when you boot, Immediately after you press the power button you need to press Del or F2 or Esc to get into your BIOS. If you see the windows logo you went to far and have to restart again.

Depending on your motherboard somewhere in the menus of you BIOS there should be a tab that allows you to disable your integrated graphics. Disable it and reboot.

no, there is no thing that says "display drives" or anything like that, it used to when i had my old gpu but now there is nothing there.

2) Display driver uninstaller: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/

3) Link to driver, ignore if you have downloaded this already 307MB http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64

3) Run driver in administrator

If still not succeed, try again with UAC turned off.

To help with picture: Display adapter will be there, it isn't in a PC's nature to troll you 😀 j/k sometimes i think it just does for the sake of all the swearing and abuse given to it over the years ;P

i know where it should be but there is no thing that says display adapter. thats why im confused

Ok im with you that is weird. Maybe try scan for hardware changes right click on the white.

Where is your vga cable connected?

Try the steps i suggested a few posts back.

Run dxdiag too in search bar then click on display, whats it say there?

okay when i run the dxdiag in display it says under manufacturer, chip type, and DAC type:n/a So there is nothing there

Run safemode and then select last known good configuration. After this then try what i suggested.

Win10 will be more or less the same but just as an example: (couldn't find Win10 one)

Also check to make sure the graphics card is properly seated in the expansion slot.

Could it be something as simple as you didn't plug your power cables into the card?
