I'm planning on upgrading my gpu from a gtc 1060 3gb to a 1660ti, if i was to do so do i need to uninstall drivers or can it work out of the box?

Uninstall existing GPU drivers with DDU to ensure complete removal.

Forget the 1660ti I changed my mind to a 2060.Also could you walk me through the steps on how to do when i get my new card?

Uninstall existing 1060 graphics drivers.
Shut down PC.
Remove the 1060 and install the 2060.
Connect monitor to the 2060.
Boot up your PC in to Windows.
Install driver package for the 2060.
Job done.
