Question Drop Shadow Effect has stopped working in Davinci Resolve & Paint.NET ?

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day.

On a day to day basis, I use applications such as Davinci Resolve and Paint.NET which work great.
Recently, the option for Drop Shadow fails to work for either application, when I select the option for a dropshadow and let it create one, nothing will happen, the image stays the same.

I was wondering if there is a fix for this issue ?

Specs:
OS: Win 10 Home
CPU: Intel Core I5-10400f@ 2.90 GHZ
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
RAM: 8 GB
BIOS: AMI

Any recent updates to Win 10 Home or other apps?

Could be some bug or corrupted file.

Have you tried reinstalling Davinci Resolve and Paint.NET?

Yes, I have uninstalled them multiple times to no avail.
