I dropped my Toshiba 3TB External Hard Drive Model Number DWC130 about 2 feet onto a hard floor. Now, when I plug it in, it beeps a few times and doesn't show up. I can still see it on the Safely Eject Hardware. Seatools for Windows cannot detect it. I can see it on Device Manager as "TOSHIBA External USB 3.0 USB Device". It's worked before, so I don't think it's a power issue. The hard drive doesn't make any noise when it's plugged in either. It also doesn't show up on My Computer or on Disk Management. Maybe something internally got knocked about so it doesn't work. I really hope not, but it appears it's most likely the case. I can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars to recover data. Any suggestions?
