Question Dropped my CPU

So I was swapping to a new CPU fan and while cleaning the old thermal paste I dropped it and chipped its’ corner View: https://imgur.com/a/4PqiMlL

There isn’t any visible pin damage, it didn’t reach that area even, i just see the wood part.
Am I safe to use it or is it R.I.P?

thats copper to prevent it from being corroded or damaged further now that the copper is exposed to air.
you could use a nail polish (clear only) ( no metal fragments etc) lightly dab that edge with a cue tip with the nail polish on the exposed area then leave to dry before installing it again in pc

Well i did notice a pin on the edge was slightly slightly bent, i bent it back and now my pc won’t boot…
Well, that indicates more damage than just the cosmetic appearing ding. Flexing that PCB may have damaged the internal structure of the CPU. Something we can see with a picture, or repair with a touch-up as previously suggested.
