While I was transporting my Ryzen 5 1600 to my house, I dropped it face first onto the cement "face" first. I tried booting up my system and it won't post. What should I do and should I clean the thermal paste off to show you guys the processor? The fans and lights on my motherboard come up, but no video signal. I can determine all the parts are working besides possibly the processor. this is really putting me off at the moment.

Solution
You could try and see if you can borrow a CPU, or send away for AMDs Ryzen 2 BIOS upgrade kit (they include a basic CPU) to test the motherboard.

If you do buy a new one then it may be worth it to upgrade your BIOS anyway and get a Ryzen 2600 instead.

Hmm, that sucks. Guess I gotta get a new one.
